MISSY came to Grace when her owner died suddenly. Missy has a paralyzed esophagus which does not cause her any pain or problems but due to this condition she is not able to be a riding horse. Missy is an easy keeper and her stunning good looks will add beauty and style to your pasture.  She loves attention and she has loads of personality. Please help us to honor the wish of Missy’s beloved owner and give Missy a forever loving home.

KODA came to Grace with 3 other horses from El Dorado County Animal Control.  The horses were seized on Valentines day due to cruelty and neglect.  Sadly it was the second time in two years that the horses were taken from their owner.  The first time the horses were returned to the owner on a technicality only to be abused again. Koda loves to be brushed and pampered and would make a great companion for a mare or gelding.  If you can give Koda the forever home he deserves please let us know.

PASO IS ONE OF THE ORIGINAL SUSANVILLE HORSES BROUGHT TO GRACE IN APRIL 2011 (These horses are not part of the Susanville case). It does not take long to fall in love with this wonderful mare.  Her sweet disposition and desire to please her caretakers is sure to win over the hearts of anyone that meets her.  Paso suffered an injury to her knee.  It is not painful to her but due to the injury she is not a riding candidate.  Paso is an easy keeper.  If you have room in your heart and home to give this deserving mare the forever home she deserves we guarantee she will reward you everyday with love for your good deed!

CELINE was 1 of 2 horses that came to Grace from Lake County Animal Control in a neglect case.  Celine is a sweet thoroughbred mare that gets along well with all of her pasture friends.  She loves to be brushed and loved and is an easy keeper. Celine is pasture sound but is not a riding candidate. We are looking for a forever home for this lovely mare.

Name: Archie

Age: Late Teens/Early 20s

Sex: Gelding

Hands: 14.3

Color: Chestnut

Archie came to Grace from Sacramento City Animal Control in a neglect case. Archie is a quiet gentleman that asks very little of his caretakers. He is a sweet little guy with lots of personality. Like many horses Archie had multiple owners throughout his life. Sadly, prior to coming to Grace Archie endured a number of years in a small pen without much to eat.  Please give this kind gentleman the retirement home he deserves.

Name: Riley

Sex: Gelding

Hands: 15

RILEY is one of the all time favorites at Grace. He never misses an opportunity to greet a Grace guest and will follow you around the pasture all day for a little love and scratch.  Riley will keep you entertained with his funny games and dog like qualities. He loves his pasture friends and will never let you forget how much he appreciates being cared for and loved.

Name: Dillon

Breed: Mini Horse/Pony

Age: 7 Years

Sex: Gelding

Hands: 12.3

Color: Gray

DILLION CAME TO GRACE FROM SACRAMENTO COUNTY ANIMAL CONTROL WHEN HE WAS JUST A BABY. Dillon and his mother had been kept in a small horse trailer for Dillon's first 6 months of life.  Dillon came in with a deformity to his front hoof that  required extensive corrective trimming and care. While his hoof will never be completely normal, there is no reason that Dillon cannot live a very normal life. He is an adorable little guy with loads of personality.
