The Grace Foundation of Northern California is an equine rescue
and rehabilitation facility located in El Dorado Hills of Northern California. We provide critical care and rehabilitation
for abused and neglected horses and utilize our rescued horses for equine assisted learning and therapeutic programs for youth
and children. Our purpose is to protect, care for and heal these two important groups - children with special emotional and
physical needs and abused and neglected animals. We believe healing is possible when it's carried out in a loving nurturing
environment.

Public Meeting The Humane Society of the United States will be hosting
a public meeting to inform all interested parties about the Assateague of the West, Wild Horse Project. This
project is an in-depth research project focusing on the use of immunocontraceptives on wild horse herds that roam 10 western
states. This project, funded by the Annenberg Foundation, with additional support provided by Land Rover of North America
and The Grace Foundation of Northern California, is a collaboration of efforts of several prominent scientists, the Bureau
of Land Management, and the Humane Society of the United States and is a five year project aimed at helping slow down the
population growth rate of the more than 30,000 wild horses that roam free on public lands. The diligent
and continued use of fertility control agents will lead to fewer stressful gathers and fewer unwanted horses being removed
from the range. The meeting will be held in El Dorado Hills, California on November 24, 2008 at 6:30 pm at the Holiday
Inn Express located at 4360 Town Center Blvd.
